As of March 25, 2017, we have shipped out rewards to 19,188 backers, which represents >92% fulfillment for this project, >99.9% fulfillment if you consider amongst backers who have answered their survey. From the time of shipping, it will take between 1~3 weeks for your reward to deliver. Please log in to your BackerKit account to obtain the shipment status and tracking link for your reward.
The remaining 481+12 backers are mostly backers with sliver color HyperDrive (our sincere apologies as production for those were delayed) and backers who only just answered their surveys. By end of next week and end of March, we will ship out all rewards to all backers who have answered their survey.

For those whose rewards have shipped but are not seeing much movement with the tracking information. We kindly seek your understanding that this is postal mail, not express courier so the tracking information is not constantly updated to the minute. Postal mail moves between different postal companies in different countries so if the mail man is not diligent in scanning the packages, new tracking information is not updated to the system. We have even seen cases when tracking is only updated after the package is delivered. Delivery typically takes place anywhere between 1-3 weeks from time of shipping. If delivery does not happen after 4 weeks from time of shipping, we will initiate insurance claims.

As of March 16, 2017, we have shipped out rewards to 17,627 backers (which represents >85% fulfillment for this project). From the time of shipping, it will take between 1~3 weeks for your reward to deliver. Please log in to your BackerKit account to obtain the shipment status and tracking link for your reward.
The remaining 1,905 + 49 backers are mostly late backers that backed close to the end of the project and also some backers with sliver color HyperDrive as we ran out of those and will have more next week (our sincere apologies!). We are pushing to clear all remaining backers who have answered their survey by end of next week.
Finally we have 1,118 backers who have yet to answer their survey despite repeated reminders. Surveys are required to obtain shipping addresses and reward color preferences which are necessary for reward fulfillment.

To date, we have shipped out 8,902 rewards. You can login to BackerKit at https://hyperdrive.backerkit.com to check your shipping status and obtain the tracking number if your order has already been shipped out.
Getting from "Ready to Ship" to "Shipped"
Our biggest challenge right now is to ship out the rewards in the "Ready to Ship" group. Many of you are in this group and have been on this status for over a week. As mentioned in our previous update #10, the reason for the delay is due to Chinese New Year backlog and congestion at the Hong Kong fulfillment company that we are using, E-Services Group (ESG) (http://www.eservicesgroup.com).
We are very frustrated because ESG is a large reputable company that has fulfilled our previous Kickstarter projects as well as for Pebble, 3Doodler, Newegg and many other major brands in the industry.
The problem started when ESG did not informed us about their congestion and various issues that we are only learning now (system breakdown, lack of workers after Chinese New Year, fiber optics breakdown, issues with Chinese customs, warehouse moving etc) until our goods were in their warehouse.
We have since diverted the rest of our goods to another fulfillment company (https://www.directlink.com) which is shipping out the rewards within 24 hours. Unfortunately we have all the backlog at ESG that we are pushing to clear as soon as possible. We expect to move bulk of the "Ready to Ship" to "Shipped" progressively over the course of this week.
We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work with ESG to clear this backlog.

Delivery Status

Hi everyone!
We are aware that it is now the 1st of March. Some of you have received the reward while many others haven’t.
Needless to say, we are very sorry to say that we are going to be late on our February delivery obligation to many of you. The expected delay is going to be between 1-3 weeks. Sometimes even the best laid plans can be delayed by unforeseen circumstances.
It was always going to be a challenge to do fulfillment around Chinese New Year where many factory workers leave for the month long holiday and never come back. We did prepare for this eventuality by hiring more workers but what we did not expect was for the same Chinese New Year to affect our component supplier (http://www.viatech.com) in Taiwan and fulfillment company (http://eservicesgroup.com) in Hong Kong where the Chinese New Year holiday is only a few days long.
The trickling of components is slowing our production and congestion at the fulfillment company is delaying the rewards from shipping out.

Shipped
To date, we have shipped out rewards to 4,382 backers, mostly on a first come first serve basis based on backer #.
Out of these 4,382 backers, about 1,000 backers have the early bird rewards which were the very first to ship, irregardless of the backer #. This is the reason why you are seeing some backers with high # receiving the reward before you. Location also plays a part too, backers living closer to our Hong Kong fulfillment center will receive their rewards faster as a result of shorter postage transit time.
Ready to Ship
We currently have sufficient rewards at the fulfillment company to ship to another 6,508 backers. As a result of the congestion, the fulfillment company has indicated to us that they will be putting in 24 hour shifts to try to clear the backlog in 72 hours.
Survey Answered/Not Answered
By the end of this week, we hope to complete fulfillment for 10,890 backers which covers most of the backers originally promised February delivery (again our apologies for being late).
That leaves us about 9,805 backers, most of which are in the March delivery group. Beginning March 15, we expect to be able to produce about 2,000 units a day so we hope to ship out the remaining rewards to the final 9,805 backers before the last week of March.
Once again, our sincere apologies for being late in our delivery obligations. The expected delay is going be between 1-3 weeks. We continue to push on everyday to get the rewards produced and shipped out as soon as possible.

Last week we shipped a total of 3K units. This week, we are on schedule to ship another 5~8K units. Next week, we will have another 15~18K to finish the remaining Kickstarter reward shipping. Workers coming back from Chinese New Year have allowed us to significantly ramp up production towards the end of February.
