Shipping Update
Last week we shipped a total of 3K units. This week, we are on schedule to ship another 5~8K units. Next week, we will have another 15~18K to finish the remaining Kickstarter reward shipping. Workers coming back from Chinese New Year have allowed us to significantly ramp up production towards the end of February.
You will receive an email once your reward is shipped. You may need to log in to https://hyperdrive.backerkit.com to obtain the tracking number.
Unfortunately we do not have a way of telling you where you are in the queue or giving anyone a more specific ship date. We are shipping out ALL Kickstarter rewards over the next 2 weeks. If you have completed your survey, you can be assured that your reward has shipped or is shipping very soon. Surveys
All surveys have been sent out via email by www.backerkit.com. If you have not received your survey email, please check your junk email folder. If you still cannot find it, please send us a private message via Kickstarter and we will send you a private link to your survey. A completed survey is necessary in order for us to fulfill your Kickstarter reward.
Kickstarter Backer Number vs Backerkit Number
Kickstarter Backer Number is a unique running number (starting from 1) assigned to you (the backer) at the moment when you back a particular project (e.g. HyperDrive). The earlier you back, the smaller your Kickstarter Backer Number.
Backerkit Number is also a unique running number (starting from 1) assigned in the order of when you complete your Backerkit survey. The earlier you complete the survey, the smaller your Backerkit Number.
For the purpose of Kickstarter reward fulfillment, we are ONLY referring to the Kickstarter Backer Number, meaning we ship out rewards on a "first come first serve" basis, the earlier you back, the earlier your shipment is going out. Early bird rewards will also ship before regular non early bird rewards.
How to find your Kickstarter Backer Number
+ Click your profile at the top of right side. + Click the “Backer history” to see your pledge for HyperDrive project. + Click the “+” button with blue circle to see the specific information. + Check your Kickstarter backer number.
Tentative Shipping Schedule
We have been busy manufacturing the rewards. We are happy to announce that the current plan is to ship out ALL the HyperDrive Kickstarter rewards by this month (February 2017).
+ This week (starting today), 3,000 units will be shipped out + Next week (around February 20), 7,000 units will be shipped out + Following week (around February 28), 16,000 units will be shipped out
You will receive a shipment tracking number via email once your reward is shipped.

Surveys are going out

Thank you for your patience. We just received payment and the final backer list from Kickstarter. With that, we can finally send out the surveys to collect product color and shipping address information.
The survey will be sent by BackerKit (https://www.backerkit.com/) in batches over the next 48 hours by alphabetical order of your Kickstarter username.
At the point of writing, we have already sent out 15,000 surveys with the remaining coming later today or early tomorrow.
Obviously we can only ship out your reward after we receive your survey so please complete your survey as soon as you get it.

Thank you (all 20,680 of you!) for helping us to raise over $1.8 million (18X our goal), making HyperDrive the 80th most funded Kickstarter project of all time and the most funded USB-C accessory. We couldn't have done it without the support of all of you and for that we are immensely grateful.
So what's going on now?
We have been busy producing the HyperDrive and are proud to announce that we have just successfully finished our first batch of units. So without further ado, here is our final production unit:
So when will I get my HyperDrive?
We know everyone is now very anxious to get their hands on the HyperDrive but please be patient with us as we work out a systematic and most efficient way to get the HyperDrive out to all 20,680 backers. We will announce the reward shipping schedule very soon, but essentially we will ship out early backer rewards first followed by backers in the February delivery group (i.e. backer #11930 and earlier as part of the $1M stretch goal) and then backers in the March delivery group (i.e. backer #11931 and later). Rewards will generally be shipped on a first come first served basis according to backer # but we may ship out rewards to certain locations (e.g. Europe) earlier since they are further and have a longer transit time from our distribution centers in HK and California.
How do I find my backer number and am I in the February delivery group?
Instructions on how to check your backer # can be found here http://orangemonkie.com/checkingbackernumber/ Early bird backers and backer #11930 and earlier will have February delivery Backer #11931 and later will have March delivery
How do I let you know which color I want and provide my shipping address?
We will send out a survey to collect color request and shipping addresses. If you pledged for multiple units, you will be able to select the color for each and every unit.
When will the survey be sent out?
We will send out the survey at the end of this month (January 2017), about 14 days from the day this campaign ended. This is as per recommended by BackerKit, the service we are using to manage the surveys From http://help.backerkit.com/article/200-when-can-i-send-surveys-to-my-backers "We strongly recommend waiting at least 14 days after the end of your campaign before sending out surveys to your backers. Many backers' credit cards fail on Kickstarter, so they give them a week after the end of the campaign to update their card info and lock in their pledge. Then, it takes up to another week to process all cards and deliver the money and the corrected backer list to you."
My credit card payment to Kickstarter was declined. What should I do?
You will have the opportunity to make a new payment via BackerKit during the survey

During the survey, you can order more HyperDrive units via BackerKit.

Thanks to your overwhelming support (which has since unlocked the $500K stretch goal of free leather pouch) we have also began production of the early bird HyperDrives and are well on track to deliver these in February 2017.

We are so happy with the progress that it is our pleasure to announced that our next $750K stretch goal will be to upgrade ALL reward shipping to February 2017 delivery.
That means if we hit $750K in funding, ALL pledges made before the $750K mark will have the rewards delivered in February 2017
Pledges made after the $750K mark will have standard March 2017 delivery. Early bird backers will still be the first to receive delivery in February 2017.
